Have you heard? Pets in Practise offer 1-2-1 Training

As well as training classes, Pets in Practise also offers the option of 1-2-1 training for your pet.  Not all dogs enjoy the set up of a hall environment, so 1-2-1 training in the comfort of your own home can be a pleasant alternative.

Some owners find that 1-2-1 training in conjunction with our classes helps them get the best out of their pet.

All 1-2-1 training sessions will take place with either Kris or Nicole. Below are the different options available:

Puppy 1-2-1

Available from the day puppy arrives until 6 months of age.  In this one hour session we can cover any of the typical problems arising in the early stages of puppy ownership such as housetraining, jumping up and play biting.  The session also includes a free Puppy School house line and Sounds for Life socialisation CD.  If your puppy is under the age of 20 weeks we highly recommend you also consider booking onto a Puppy School training and socialisation course.

Training 1-2-1

This option is available for any dog over the age of 6 months.  In a one hour session we will aim to cover a few training exercises which may include; teaching a sit, loose lead walking, teaching a recall, wait/stay and jumping up.

Training Consultation

Again, this option is available for dogs over the age of 6 months.  A training consultation involves a two hour visit from us, focusing on any specific training problems you are having.  As well as a visit you will also be provided with a training report detailing all the suggestions made during our visit and given lifetime phone and email support for the training covered.
